Tucked into the beautiful Kootenay Lake Valley, this oasis of handcrafted, waterfront log chalets and fully-serviced, shoreline RVsites, offers a one-of-a kind base for your holidays.
Our 'Kootenay Paradise' starts with the
4 star accommodation, a quiet swimming beach, firepits, canoe & kayak
rental and endless adventures for kids.
Enjoy a bonfire at the beach.
Sit at
the lakefacing balcony and listen to the waves lapping on the shore.
Sternwheeler's Landing is the ideal place for couples, families, retreats, seminars or larger groups.

Sternwheelers Landing I and II:
Both houses are built identically, with about 100 m2 (1000 sq ft) of living area, and comfortably sleep up to 8 persons.
The chalets
feature covered decks on three sides, 2 balconies (west and east facing), and
a small garden between the chalets and the beach area.
On the main
floor is a 12 m2 (120 sq ft) fully equipped kitchen with full-size fridge with
top freezer, 4 burner stove with large oven, coffee maker, toaster, microwave,
and cooking and serving ware.
Four piece
bathroom with 5 ft bathtub/shower combination and hair dryer. For your convenience
we equipped each chalet with a washer and dryer. All linens and bedding are
provided, just bring your own beach towels. Relax by the woodstove and drink
in the inspirational lakeview from the livingroom. The partially shaded and
covered front deck is about 8 m from the water's edge.
Upstairs
are two bedrooms: one is equipped with a queen-size bed and two single, 1x2
m (39”x 80”) beds, and a small east facing balcony.
In
the second bedroom you will find two more single, 1x2m (39”x 80”)
beds, and a king-size bed. This room opens to a spacious, covered balcony.
View the
lake, with it’s different moods, and the impressive Selkirk
Mountain Range from this west facing balcony.

March 1-May 15 and Oct 12-Nov 15:
$ 149/night - minimum stay 2 nights
****Early/Late Season Special: 5 nights for $ 600
May 16-June 30 and Sept 6-Oct 11:
$ 169 / night - minimum stay 2 nights
*******Middle Season Special: 5 nights for $ 700 + free use of one
canoe or kayak on up to 3 days
Our Main Season is
July/August:
July 1st to July 14 and August 13 th to
Sept 5th:
$ 269 / night - 5 nights minimum stay
July 15 to August 12:
$ 289 /night - 5 nights minimum stay
